Rosedalean SMP is a multiplayer survival server that feels like a mix of casual and hardcore players all in one place. Some people grind a lot and some just relax and build so there is space for every play style.

The server is enhanced vanilla and runs on add ons so you do not need to download mods. It still feels like normal Minecraft but with extra cool stuff. There is a simple voice chat system that makes playing with others easier and more social.

There are community events and different factions you can join or you can try to start your own. Players can use an easy ticket system if they need help with something. There is also a BlueMap so you can see how the world looks as it gets explored and built up.

The staff use an application system to keep trolls out and take the community seriously. They listen to suggestions from players and try to make the server better based on what the community wants. The vibe is pretty welcoming and new players can get involved fast.

WhimsyWillow SMP is a small community server that just started season 3 and this time it is modded. The mods were picked by the community so the server really feels like a group project.

The world has a ton of new biomes and structures to explore with extra ores that make progression feel more exciting. There are new tools and weapons too so you do not get bored using the same stuff all the time.

Spawn is kept clean and pretty and there is a shop district where players can make their own custom shops and sell whatever they want. The server staff and players are always looking for new suggestions so they can keep things balanced fair and fun for everyone.

Everyone is welcome in this community and they are always looking for new people to play with and new ideas for events. The server is whitelisted but applying is super simple and done with a short application.

This is a creative city building server that feels like a big ongoing project. The world has a huge custom terrain map and everyone is focused on building cool cities and locations together.

The main idea is citybuild and worldbuilding. After a short application you can get access to world edit and other helpful commands so you can really show what you can do. You can claim land and see it marked on the live map so your builds actually feel like part of the world.

There is optional geopolitical roleplay going on. New players can join the story by making claims and even towns and settlements. But if roleplay is not your thing you can ignore it and just build because the RP is totally optional.

The community looks tight knit and laid back. People hang out and chat a lot give build advice and work together on projects. Staff and other players seem to be online a lot and they run events sometimes. The rules are simple and mostly about keeping griefers out so people who join can focus on building and having fun.
