BoonCraft is a survival SMP server with a small friendly community and players from all over the world. It is mostly PvE and it has a no griefing policy so people can just build and relax.
There is land claim to protect your builds and player warps so you can show off what you made. The server also runs community competitions and challenges and there is usually something new each week.
The economy feels stable and balanced and you can make money in a bunch of ways like player shops jobs quests the auction house voting and selling items. Custom fishing is a big thing too and you can catch lots of fish types and sizes then sell them to the Fisherman at spawn. There are also server wide daily fishing competitions.
If you want PvP you can toggle it and there is a dedicated PvP arena where fights are safe. You keep your inventory you keep your XP and your items do not lose durability.
There is no pay to win and the store is only for cosmetics. You can also unlock free ranks and special perks just by playing.
