WhimsyWillow is a small community server that is running Season 3 and this time it is modded. The mods were picked by the community and the server is trying to stay active with ideas and events. They are looking for more people to join and hang out and everyone is welcome.
There is a lot to explore with over 100 biomes using Biomes O Plenty and Terratonic plus extra structures. You can build machines with the Create mod and do anything reasonable. There is also a BlueMaps world map so you can see the world.
Progression feels bigger with more ores plus new tools and weapons. Spawn is kept nice and there is a shop district with player shops that can sell whatever they want. The server also wants suggestions to keep things balanced fair and enjoyable.
It is whitelisted and you apply through their Discord with a short application.
