We are a Kit PVP server with the goal of capturing the magic of 1.7-1.8 PVP, with a modern twist that will keep you coming back!
Our server unashamedly runs natively on Minecraft 1.8, though all versions from 1.7.10-1.20.4 are supported. The idea behind this server is to bring in all the old desirable elements of 1.7/1.8-style PVP, with a bunch of new custom tweaks to certain items to make the game more interesting. Sure, we don’t have all the new fancy blocks, mobs, and ingots, but do you really need to worry about those things when you’re fighting people on a map that is still drop-dead gorgeous?
We plan to offer a plethora of custom minigames, and at the moment we do have a custom-made KOTH minigame which our dedicated developers and builders have worked on quite meticulously for the past few months. This server has been over a year in the making, and the quality and polish of our custom map, spawn, shop, plugins, minigames, and items will reflect that. We spent a lot of time carefully crafting what we believe will be one of the best, most interesting PVP experiences a Minecraft server will be able to offer to players.
As a server dedicated to hardcore 1.8 style PVP, we do not have any forms of active anticheat on the server. Instead, we require the latest version of Lunar Client. This effectively stops cheaters and people using cheat-injected forms of Lunar Client before they even join the server. We do have passive anticheat alerts for staff members, but nothing that will actively impede movement or reach.
We are also proudly a PLAY to win server, we are not pay to win. That gets quite boring and very difficult for regular players when they are up against people who can just spend $5-$20 and get access to ridiculously OP gear. Don’t get us wrong, we want to provide an incentive to people who support us, and we do give those people access to exclusive kits and other exclusive cosmetic features. However, even the highest paid rank does not get access to the best kit on the server: that kit can be obtained by simply ranking up with in-game money, not real life money!
We know getting this this type of server, which is a dying breed these days, online with an activate playerbase will be an uphill battle. There is a huge monopoly who shall not be named that garners the majority of the Minecraft PVP community these days, and we’re really hoping to offer something unique that they just simply don’t on their massive megaplex of a server. Think of it as the real-life equivalent of supporting a small business instead of a major megacorp! We might not have the vast resources they do, but we do have a fiercely dedicated team.
