Headrest SMP is a paper survival server that focuses on pvp and lore with a really active community. The server runs on version 1.20.10 and uses a few quality of life plugins that keep it simple but still fun.
You can chill and build with people or you can jump into fights and wars. There is a safe zone at spawn where players can build shops and hang out and talk using the simple vc mod. Outside of spawn it becomes more dangerous since pvp is on and players can battle and plan wars or betray each other.
Some of the plugins are no elytra during combat combatlog sit and simple vc. This makes fights feel more fair and also lets people relax and roleplay when they want. The owners use a dedicated server with 20GB of ram and a 5800x3d cpu so the server is made to run smooth and avoid lag.
From what I see this server is about a tight knit community that likes to be friends but also loves wars and pvp. If you want a place where you can build a base make allies and maybe stab those allies later this server really fits that vibe.
