This is a modded Java server that tries to feel like real world history but in Minecraft. The server is called Geopol Reforged and it is on version 1.18.2. It is based on older Geopol servers so it is kind of a reboot of a classic.
The world uses an Earth map and the whole thing is about nations and politics and wars. Players make their own nations and run their own economy. You can trade build and plan together and then fight other groups in wars. There is PvP and warfare but random griefing that is not allowed by the rules is not ok.
There are guns but they are toned back so it is not just instant kills everywhere. The server has netherite gear and a grace period to help people get started. There are also server wide events and server lore so it feels like a long story that everyone is part of.
The server is 16 and older so the community is meant to be more mature. Roleplay is welcome but not forced so you can play serious or chill. They are also looking for admins so staff is still growing.
