LavaNetwork is a new Minecraft server that is still in beta so things are changing a lot. Right now it only has Survival and it is focused on keeping things simple and fair without pay to win stuff.
The server uses menus and NPCs to help you move around easily. There is a voting system with a custom vote menu and vote crates that give useful rewards when you take part.

This is a survival server with a big focus on lifesteal and pvp. You start with a normal amount of hearts but when you kill other players you steal their hearts. When you die you lose hearts and if you lose all your hearts you get banned. New players have a one hour grace period so they can learn the server before losing hearts.
The server lets you set a home with simple commands so you can go back to your base fast. You can also send teleport requests to other players if you want to team or just hang out. There is a system that locks your commands while you are in combat and it punishes combat logging by spawning a killable npc that drops your stuff.
There is some protection against crazy movement cheats and really bad chat spam so fights feel a bit more fair and chat is not totally ruined. There is an in game store where you can spend vote tokens on custom name colors and custom motds for some extra style.
The server tracks your playtime kills and deaths and it gives rewards when you hit different milestones. Players can also skip the night by voting with a simple command so it is easier to keep moving and grinding. It feels like a pretty intense pvp place with custom plugins that make it different from normal survival.

This is a semi vanilla survival server that feels really focused on community and long term worlds. When I joined it felt like everyone already knew each other but they still said hi to new people and that was cool.
The whole economy is based on diamonds so finding them actually feels important. Players make their own shops and there is a shops menu so you can browse stuff really fast instead of running around forever.
Land claiming is done with golden shovels so you can protect your base and builds. With no griefing allowed it feels safe to build big projects and not worry about someone breaking everything while you are offline.
The server is more PvE style and it really feels like true survival because there is no keep inventory. If you die you actually care and it makes caving and exploring more intense.

NvizionMC is a crossplay SMP that runs like a chill survival world but with some extra features that make it feel more alive. It has a small but active community with about fifteen people on daily so it never feels totally empty.
There is a server economy and you can earn in game money by voting every day. You get twenty five dollars each day you vote and then you can spend it in the server shop or save it for bigger stuff. You can also rent your own chest shop at spawn and sell things to other players.
The server has claims so you can protect your base right away which is really nice if you are still new. There is random teleport so you can spread out and find your own place. There are cosmetics and they do rank and key giveaways sometimes so people always have something to grind for.
They also use SimpleVoiceChat for proximity chat so talking to people around you feels way more like hanging out. There is ImageFrames for everyone so players can put pictures in game and make builds look more custom.

This is a lifesteal anarchy server that has been running for about a year and it feels really chaotic in a fun way. You spawn in and players can steal your hearts when they kill you and you lose hearts when you die.
