This server feels like old school Minecraft and I kind of love it. It is just normal survival and it feels really simple and chill. There is no crazy stuff or weird custom systems. It is mostly just you and the world and what you decide to build.
The whole idea is to be classic and pure. You join a survival SMP and start from nothing. You explore you mine you build and you try to stay alive. It feels like how the game used to be when you first started playing. That makes it feel really comfy.
The community is a big deal here too. People are friendly and like to work together on projects or just hang out and talk. It is not sweaty or super serious. It is more about having fun and being creative with other players.
They also have optional proximity chat. If you want more immersion you can talk to people when you are close to them in game. It makes exploring towns or caves with friends feel more real. If you do not like that you just do not use it.
If you want a simple survival world with good vibes and no extra nonsense this fits that pretty well.
