Meteor Shower SMP is a Vanilla plus survival server that wants to keep the same world for years with no resets. The world has been running for about 7 months so it feels lived in but still open for new players.
It uses a small set of mods that make stuff easier and add extra features. You can still join with a totally vanilla client.
There is a live map and the server also has backup and logging mods so builds and progress are protected.
They prefer players to be 16 plus. If you are younger you can still ask to join and explain why you fit in.

I found Creativity SMP and it is a Forge 1.20.1 survival server. It is made for people who like building huge stuff and running megafarms.
Megafarms are allowed as long as they do not lag the server. The server is said to be really strong so big projects are welcome.
Cracked is enabled. You can also recommend mods and give server suggestions. It has Create with Valkyrien Skies planes and it also has the Clockwork addon.

I found a vanilla plus Minecraft server that keeps the normal feel but adds some extra stuff. The mods are mostly furniture and new crafting recipes like new types of armor. There are also new items that do not go too far from vanilla.
It is not a full modpack. You get a zip that has the needed mods so you can drop them into your mods folder for whatever launcher you use.
The rules are simple. No cheating or hacked clients. No exploits or dupes. No x ray or kill aura or fly. Anything that gives an unfair advantage is not allowed.

This is a semi vanilla Minecraft server that is starting soon. It uses a few mods but they are meant to not change the gameplay too much.
The main thing is there are 5 kingdoms or nations or factions. Each one is led by a very small content creator that got picked. Other players can join one of the kingdoms and play as a group.
