This server started pretty normal and people were joining and having fun. Then the owner put it on voting sites and everything went crazy. The tps dropped super low and chat was full of people freaking out.
It was not just lag from players. Someone built a huge lag machine that was so strong you needed render distance on 2 and it could still crash your game. The owner kept restarting the server but the lag came back every few minutes.
Then a player showed the owner where the lag machine was. It was so bad you could not even get close to it. So the owner decided to use world edit and removed a big area of chunks to save the world and the player progress instead of deleting the whole map.
