CoreMC is a small vanilla whitelist server that has been running the same world for a long time. It uses the normal vanilla jar with no datapacks except a simple logging one so rules can be enforced. The gamerules are all default so it really feels like regular Minecraft.
This server is for players who like long term survival and late game goals. The world started in 1.18 and will not reset so every build can be permanent if you want. It is not very active so you should be ok with playing mostly on your own and making your own projects.
The rules are pretty simple. No pvp griefing or stealing and you have to respect other peoples builds. You cannot use item dupe glitches and you cannot make things that cause huge lag on purpose. This is an Earth style SMP that feels like a creepy mystery.
I joined and the world looks kind of abandoned. There are bases and farms and paths but it feels like people suddenly vanished. The map feels empty but you can tell it used to be busy.
The weird part is the players who log in and just stare. They stand still in the shadows near spawn and do not talk. They do not build. They just watch. Then they log off like nothing happened and it happens again.

Ancient Echoes is a survival SMP that runs on Minecraft Java 1.21.10 and it is for players who are 18 or older. The world feels really alive because there are builders explorers and redstoners all working on different stuff.
