The Perch is a Java SMP that is built to feel like a real Minecraft home. It is focused on community first and it aims to stay free from toxicity and drama.
The server tries to keep a survival feel so it does not get bloated. Features are made to be more balanced and easy to use. If you do not like a feature you can toggle it off. It also puts effort into keeping farms and redstone working like they do in the base game.
Players can rank up based on playtime and unlock perks just by playing. There is a fair economy with lots of player run shops. There are small gameplay tweaks to make things nicer and there is a web map to view the worlds.
The staff stays in contact with players using suggestions and tickets plus feedback forms. They also post weekly change logs and run monthly events. The server version listed is 1.21.11 and it says no resets.
