This server is called Altitude and it feels like a chill community survival place where people actually stay and play for a long time. It is a survival network that focuses on regular Minecraft with extra features to make things more interesting.

The server is built around Towny with nations and war so it feels like a big simulated civilization. You can join or create a town then grow it into a nation and fight other nations over land. There is server lore about an entity called Misty who watches every move and tries to understand humanity which gives the world a cool story feeling.
There are jobs so you can earn money and a culture system to make towns feel different. MCMMO is here for skill leveling and there are tweaks to enchantments plus slower endgame progression so players do not rush to finish everything in one day. This server is called Neopoliticia and it is all about Napoleonic Europe on a giant 1 to 800 scale map. It feels like you are playing inside a huge history project but with Minecraft battles and cool gear from that era.
The thing I noticed right away is that it has tons of weapons and items that fit the Napoleonic theme and all of it runs only on plugins. So you do not need any mods to join which is really nice if you hate messing with files.
The server works on both Java and Bedrock so it is easy to get your friends on no matter what they play on. They said the server just started so it is a really good time to hop in and try to make a name for yourself before everything is claimed.
From what I can tell the whole point is to fight in wars conquer land and build your own legacy on this huge Europe map with custom gear and no extra client stuff.

There is a brewing plugin similar to Brewery where you can make drinks and even get drunk. Builds can be protected with a Citadel and NameLayer based reinforcement system so you do not lose everything you worked on.
The community is friendly and creative from what I saw. The server is not pay to win at all. It feels like a place where you are supposed to write your own story and really make it yours.
