Atlas MC is a new Towny Earth server that is all about geopolitics and building up real world style nations. You start by claiming a real life city or town then you expand outward as your nation grows.
They have custom plugins that change how politics works. You can make vassals claim titles and try to become a great power. There is also a battle points system that tries to mix PvP players with normal players around resources.
You can declare wars for land riches or just for the name. The server is in beta right now and it is using strong hosting so gameplay stays smooth.

ShovelCraft is a semi vanilla SMP that is all about building together and letting the world history grow over time. People make towns and alliances and even have conflicts that turn into stories.
The world is split into two zones. The Green Zone is from 0 to 5k and it has no PvP and no stealing and no griefing. It also has no generated structures so it feels like it is made for builders and trade and lore. The Red Zone starts at 5k and beyond and it has PvP on and stealing is allowed and vanilla structures are there for exploring. Griefing is still not allowed so fights are more organized.
The End is disabled so there are no elytras and no shulker farms. Travel matters more and you move by land and sea and the Nether.
This server is meant to last with no planned resets. The economy uses diamonds. Teams can level up by using diamonds and unlock perks like extra warps shared storage and more member slots. There are also seasonal competitions with lore based rewards like armor trims and shulker boxes. It runs on version 1.21.11 and supports both Java and Bedrock.

Kingdom of Lucidia is a roleplay focused SMP with a big fantasy story behind it. A darkness called the Shroud has taken the lands beyond the shore but Lucidia still stands. The capital city is Misthaven and the King offers sanctuary and citizenship to people who arrive.
Players start shaping two new colonies called Dawncrest and Duskmere. You can build towns and write laws and elect leaders and form councils. Politics comes from what players choose to do and it can turn into diplomacy rivalry or war over outer islands.
It feels like a D and D style campaign with major story events hosted by the staff. It is modded for deep fantasy immersion with things like magic medieval armor breweries and bakeries carts and trade systems mythic mounts and extra survival mechanics. You can travel trade and scheme but the Crown is in charge and old powers are still out there.
The server is not open yet since the world is still getting finished. People can join early to apply and be among the first players.

The economy is player driven and there is also a server shop for blocks you cannot naturally get in game. They also just added PyroFishing and a lot of people are really into it.
There is a free progression system with new nature themed rank tiers. If you like collecting stuff there are over 100 plushies to find.
It is not really a PvP server but there is a duel arena if you want to fight. They also run on dedicated hardware now so ping is solid for NA and EU and it supports Java 1.21 with multi version support. There is also a Valentines day event with items you can buy using in game money.
