This is a brand new modded SMP called GildedAbyss and it is all about the community and how players interact with the world.

The server has lots of extra biomes from mods like Biomes O Plenty and Terralith so exploring feels way more interesting. There are special items you can get with certain methods so it is not just basic vanilla loot.
You can pick an aspect which is like choosing a race in game and use its advantages. There are more ores than normal so progression feels more fun with new tools and weapons instead of the usual gear.
The Create mod is also on the server so you can build machines and contraptions as long as they are reasonable. The owner really wants suggestions from players and plans to run many events once the server fully begins.
You get whitelisted through a ticket system where you talk with the owner or a moderator and if they think you fit the vibe they add you.
