This server is called Exodus and it is a semi vanilla survival server that is all about geopolitics. It started about two months ago and it is more focused on geopol stuff than roleplay. You can make nations fight wars and make deals and all that.
If you are not good at pvp it is still fine. You can just build or do politics or whatever you like. The server is made for different kinds of players. There is a world border of 5000 by 5000 so the map is not huge. Because of that resources are limited so people have to trade instead of grabbing everything alone.
There are some clear rules. No griefing and no duping and no using x ray. The End and the Nether are closed so everyone has to stay in the overworld. Farms have to be hidden so you cannot just make giant laggy farms everywhere. There are also rules that are made to improve pvp so fights are more fair and fun.
Overall it feels like a mix of survival and political strategy. Everyone has to live close because of the world border so it makes more player interaction and trade and conflict.
