This server feels like it is trying to be a Witcher style adventure but in Minecraft. The owner spent about 2.5 months making lore and there is an ongoing book with 7 chapters that are around 2000 words each.
It is the owners first server and it starts on 11 or 12 Feb. The server has both pvp and non pvp roles and both matter. Builders seem a little more important but fighters can build too.
Community is a big deal here and players are expected to interact. Your choices can change the world lore in real ways and it is not just a tiny line of text. There are NPCs too and if you ignore the lore you can accidentally make one angry.
The age limit is 15 plus and the rules and etiquette are taken seriously. The server uses minimal plugins and leans more on hard work and custom ideas. You can play casual or you can grind and try to beat the nether dungeon.

Calvaria is a Minecraft Java SMP on version 1.21.11. It is vanilla style but it also has some server side mods that add quality of life stuff.
This server is 16 plus and it is whitelisted. If you want to join you have to submit an application first. The vibe is for people who want to build and hang out in a friendly place.
Some of the extras include Simple Voice Chat and Audio Player. There is also Vein Miner and Tree Harvester plus some crafting recipe changes. You can also find things like item swapping mob and player heads and armor poser. You do not have to install anything to play and you only need mods if you want to use certain features.
