Play Minecraft as a monster! You will look like the monster and have it’s abilities.SummaryThe PvP game mode DvZ involves two teams, the dwarves and the zombies. The dwarves must defend their three shrines and prevent the zombies from conquering them, the game ends when the zombies conquer the final shrine or the last dwarf falls. The zombies are assisted by many monster classes each with unique abilities and disguises.

What is MCBall? Why is it unique?

MCBall, in its simplest description, is a completely custom Minecraft minigame that revolves around two teams, red and blue, trying to capture the other team’s flag and protect their own. The first to 3 captures wins the game, but it’s not that simple. Preventing you from capturing the enemy team’s flag is the entire enemy team armed with paintballs (snowballs) which kill on impact. When a person runs out of snowballs they must left click or press Q to reload. If a person dies he will respawn within 20 seconds at their team’s base. Also adding to gameplay mechanics arekits.

What are kits?

Kits are a large part of MCBall gameplay and add much variation and strategy. Any player can use one kit at a time and can select it by either /kit or clicking on the slimeball in their hotbar. Kits vary in what they do but they all influence playstyle and gameplay.Every kit has different killstreak effects at 3, 5 and 7 kills.

An example of a few kits are:

Sniper- Spawns with a rifle that can instantly kill a player being aimed at. Default of 30 second cooldown.

3 killstreak – Cooldown reduced to 20 seconds5 KS – Cooldown is 15 seconds7 KS – Cooldown is 10 seconds

Magneto- Can reflect paintballs back at attackers while reloading. Length of reflect depends on paintballs in inventory.

3 KS – You now gain the reflect effect when you return the flag. Lasts 3 seconds.5 KS – You now gain the reflect effect when you pick up a flag.7 KS – If you get hit by a snowball you will not die and your reflect will activate for 3 seconds. 30 seconds cooldown.

Since, I have your attention I would like to show you the server and maybe introduce myself a bit more:Our server economy is run on diamonds, you will be able to rent plots in a shopping district near spawn for diamonds and create your own villager trade shops using Shopkeepers. You can get the shop creation tool by doing ‘/kit shop’We will be using a datapack called Terralith that expands on the Overworld terrain, along with some other datapacks that are listed here.

Server Rules:1. No grief, raiding or stealing.Unclaimed builds are still protected by staff, you are not allowed to loot, raid or grief anything that isn’t yours. Pranks are allowed only if it is easy to clean up and has creative value. For example, a prank where a player triggers an explosion that destroys a significant part of their base would not be creative or easy to clean up.2. Use of modified clients, play assisted bots, the seed, or mods/texture packs that give you advantages are strictly prohibited.Allowed mods:

3. Killing and stealing items from players is not allowed.PvP is enabled on the server and it should be consented first before someone is killed. Sometimes players will kill other players for pranks and good fun and return items and this is allowed but if somehow a staff member gets involved, (generally by the victim saying something in chat), then someone is liable to be warned and the victim’s inventory restored. Multiple warnings on this rule may result in a temporary ban!4. Shopping District RulesPlain, square and unexciting shop builds are not pleasing and you will be warned to improve the look of your shop if it doesn’t meet the standard. Shops must have a minimum ceiling height of 3 blocks. With this rule; shops cannot be abnormally tall or wide.Make sure that if you buy a shop plot in spawn that you start building your shop as soon as possible before an admin removes it. Shopkeepers in the shopping district with no build will be removed. Shops will also be removed automatically after 20 days of player inactivity.Keep the confines of your claim as close to your build as possible. There should NOT be excess blocks claimed by you around your build that could otherwise be unclaimed. Keep your claim around your build only.Sell a diverse set of items at your shop.
