Vanguard SMP is a vanilla style survival pvp server that is all about player skill and smart planning instead of super broken gear or crazy items.
The server keeps the gameplay pretty simple with only light quality of life stuff so fights feel fair and close. Combat is meant to be skill based so you actually have to aim think and use your brain in every fight.
Some items and tricks are banned like minecarts elytra with maces and end crystals. This stops one shot kills and weird cheese so battles last longer and every heart matters.
The play style is pretty intense. Base raiding is allowed. Traps are allowed as long as they are not too insane. You can make alliances and then backstab them later if you want so there is lots of drama and strategy.
There is no pay to win here and the server is up all day and night. The community is active and competitive and it is a good place if you enjoy survival and pvp together and want every fight to actually count.
