Creation Network is a Minecraft server that is just starting out and they released their first pre beta version.
Right now they have one gamemode called Calanity. It is a mmorpg style mode that is all about clans and elements. The gameplay mixes griefing and pvp with elemental abilities so fights feel different than normal vanilla.
You gain clan points by killing other players and then your clan climbs up the leaderboard. So the more you battle other players the higher you go.
The server supports both Java and Bedrock so more friends can join and play together.

Windflow SMP is a new semi vanilla survival server that is just about to start Season 1. It feels like the right time to hop in because everyone will be starting fresh together.
The server has a custom coded plugin that gives you a bunch of useful features so the game feels smoother but still like normal Minecraft. There are quality of life mods like Simple Voice Chat and Easy Villagers and some others so you can talk in game and manage villagers without it being super annoying.
They also have a custom Discord bot for the server. You can use the bot to set up and manage teams so playing with friends or joining a group is way easier.
Overall the server looks like a chill semi vanilla SMP where you join at the start of a new season and build up a world with other players using some smart tools but not a ton of crazy mods.

This is a faction style Minecraft server that is looking for more pvp players.
The main thing here is fighting and working as mercenaries in a faction world. You join the server and play with a group that wants to win fights and control land.

This is a lifesteal Minecraft server that also uses the Create mod.
Players fight and lose hearts and they can steal hearts from each other. At the same time the Create mod lets people build cool machines and crazy contraptions.
The server feels like a mix of pvp and technical building. Some people will go hard on combat and some will spend time making factories and weird designs with Create.

Iperios is a survival server where players make their own nations and fight for power. You build your country and decide your own government laws and ranks. If you do not want to lead a nation you can just join one that already exists and help it grow.
The main idea is geopolitics. There are special resource camps in the world that nations can conquer. When your nation controls these places you get resources for your expansion. You use this to get stronger and to claim more territory. There are many different resources and buildings you can make and the staff explains everything in their channels and with support.
The server uses McMMO so you can level your skills and become stronger in fights. There are custom enchants to make your gear more powerful. Dynmap lets you see the world map. GriefPrevention is there so players can protect their land. SilkSpawner lets you pick up and move spawners.
To join you first get whitelisted and then a staff member shows you the basics. New players get a starter kit. After that you are free to start your journey build your nation and join the wars for land and power.

This is a whitelisted semi vanilla server called Kingdoms that is all about roleplay and politics. Players build their own kingdoms and deal with other kingdoms through diplomacy and conflict. The whole vibe is about player driven politics and big geopolitical stories.
The server runs on Minecraft 1.21.10 and tries to keep all the normal vanilla mechanics. They even bring back older stuff like string duplication void trading and update suppression. It feels like normal Minecraft but with a lot more drama between players.
There are some custom features that make roleplay stronger. There is a custom mod that lets you actually create a kingdom with commands. You can change how your name looks in tab and in chat so you can have a new identity for your character. This server is called MODMIX Factions and it feels like old school factions but on a newer version.
You grind a lot here. You fight other players and you build bases that actually get attacked. TNT raiding is a thing and obsidian has durability so you cannot just hide forever.
There are faction land claims but it is not about making unraidable bases. You need to build and defend and expect people to try and break in.
The server uses MCMMO so you level up skills like swords mining and acrobatics. There are duels player vaults and spawner stacking. You also earn your rank by using XP in game money and your skills instead of just getting it for free.
It runs on the latest version 1.21.8 and you can join on Java or Bedrock. Overall it feels like OG factions brought into a modern server with a focus on grinding PvP and real raiding.

This is a hardcore style server where you only get 5 lives total. That means every fight and every fall actually matters.

This server is called Runecraft and it is all about player made nations. Players build their own groups and run things together instead of the server doing everything for you.
There is a custom gui and mods so stuff does not feel like boring normal vanilla. There are over 20 new ores and new armor sets and tools so you always have something else to grind for. There are also loads of new mobs so the world feels a lot more alive and dangerous.
The staff is active and they keep the server running and help out. There are invite perks and booster perks too. The cool part is it is not pay to win because the things you can pay for are still obtainable in game if you work hard enough.
