This is a cozy survival server running Minecraft 1.21.10 with a simple towny style. It feels like a classic vanilla world but with towns nations and a small sprinkle of extra features.
Players can create their own towns or join a nation and work together. There is mcMMO so you can level up skills by playing and Jobs so you can earn in game money while you mine farm or do other tasks. There are also community events and trading so people actually talk and help each other.

I found this server that feels really old school and super cozy. It has a PvE world a Creative world and a Snapshot server. The whole place is mostly vanilla and it is all about chill gameplay and building with other people.
On the PvE server you play survival without any pvp. You only fight mobs and not other players. People like to team up build towns and even full cities. They reset the PvE map not that long ago so there is still room for fresh bases. There are regular game nights on Friday and Saturday with stuff like spleef thimble and ice boat races so it never feels boring.
The Creative server is for people who just want to build. The map is a mix of natural and custom terrain. You can protect your builds and you can use WorldEdit for free if you want. TownThrive is a Minecraft server that really cares about player interaction and towns. The whole idea is that players form towns and larger nations and then deal with each other using politics trade and sometimes war.
The rules are pretty simple. You cant use hacked clients xray or any external mods that give an unfair advantage. Stuff like minimap fullbright and schematica are allowed though. You also cant use alts in game or in the discord. Griefing and raiding are only allowed during war so random griefing is not ok.

AvalonEarth is a geopolitics style earth smp where the map is a 1 to 500 scale of the real world. There is tons of space to claim land and create your own nation.

Halcyon is a Lands PvP server that feels like an old school survival world. It is run by a postgraduate medievalist who really cares about the medieval theme. The server uses a handmade custom world and tries to stay very close to normal vanilla Minecraft while still being on version 1.21.10.
The gameplay is harder on purpose. Progress is slower and it is harder to use meta tricks. You are pushed to be creative and to work with other players. Big wins come from doing brave fights making smart trades and building strong cities and castles. It is more about people and teamwork than about big farms and exploits.
Travel is a huge part of the game. There is no teleporting at all and the biomes are large and different. Players build long roads waystations and secret underground railways to get around. F3 was turned off so you cannot just read your coordinates. Some people sell lodestone compasses and others make big maps or learn to navigate by the sun and the moon.
The server does not force you to follow strict lore. There is no pre built story you have to play. You just join pick a direction punch some trees and your story grows as you meet other players. The plugins and the world are set up to make these player stories happen naturally. There are already player made books art myths and weird superstitions even though the server is still pretty new.
