Astral Swords is a hardcore vanilla SMP where you only get one life and every move feels scary.
I saw players working together and also going solo and both ways look super intense. There are no fancy extras so it is just you and Minecraft and the world trying to kill you.
The server runs on Java 1.21.10 and it is meant to feel unstable and tough. When you die your run is over so people think before they fight or explore.
Everyone uses Discord to stay connected and plan runs and events. The community feels like it really wants hardcore challenge and true survival with no extra fluff.
