United Crafters SMP is starting Season 7 and it feels like a chill place for people who actually like playing together. It is a survival multiplayer server and they keep it whitelist only so it stays friendly and safe.
The community is focused on working together. They do events collabs and big shared projects so it is not just everyone hiding in their own base. The players are 14 and older so it is more mature but still laid back.

Spugunke is a new semi vanilla SMP that is all about community and long term survival. The world just started so early players get to shape how everything looks and feels.
The server is focused on player made towns and teams. You can build a town or join one and work on shared bases farms and huge projects. Some teams might focus on pvp or exploration or grinding resources. If you like playing alone that is fine too. The server supports both competitive and relaxed play styles.
Rules are relaxed but still fair. Griefing stealing and random killing are not allowed. Pvp is only allowed when everyone agrees so fights are organized and not chaotic. Town or team battles can still happen if both sides want it.
Spawn is supposed to become a shared community area with player builds and places to hang out. People are social and often play at the same time and sit in voice calls while they mine and build so it feels like a real group.
The server supports full Java and Bedrock crossplay so players on different platforms can play together. It uses only vanilla enhancing plugins like tpa sethome and spawn plus protection and discord connection to keep gameplay close to normal survival.
There is an End event planned for later so players can gear up together. The server is also looking for more moderators as the community grows.

SqueejCraft is a hard survival world that feels a lot like single player but with other people around. The server is semi vanilla so it keeps normal game mechanics and lets you build big farms and mega bases without weird changes.
The owners focus a lot on performance and still let you use redstone and vanilla mob farms. There is a big world border so there is room for long term projects and the server is meant for players who like to stay on one world for a long time.
You get land claiming to protect your builds and there is an economy that is separate from the normal vanilla trading. Chest shops and home points unlock as you play so you get some quality of life stuff without it feeling like a minigame server.
PvP is optional so you can keep your stuff safe if you do not want to fight all the time. There are rules for the server and guides that explain things like how to claim land how to make chest shops and how chat works so new players can learn the basics fast.
Overall it feels like a serious long term semi vanilla smp where you can do big projects survive on hard mode and not worry about the world getting reset all the time.

United Lands is a Towny Earth SMP that feels like a big world map where players build towns and nations and fight over land. The map is scaled so you can claim big areas and shape your own empire with your friends.
When I joined I noticed the server has lots of custom features. There are custom items and custom gear and even different foods like avocados and mac and cheese. You can pick from 7 different jobs and they each have skill trees so you can level up and get stronger in your own way.
The economy is fully player run. There are no admin shops at all. Players use warps and make their own shops and you have to hunt around for the best prices or try to become the one everyone buys from.
There is pvp and also roleplay so you can either be a builder who makes cool towns or a fighter who joins wars or both. You can join an already made town or nation or start your own and try to become powerful.
The server is not pay to win. The store is only cosmetic so people who spend money do not get gameplay advantages. It feels fair because everyone plays on the same level.

Cocoon SMP is a new Java 1.18 survival server that feels like a small cozy world.
It is set up like a Hermitcraft style server. There will be a main spawn and a shopping district and other shared areas. The idea is to focus on creativity and building cool stuff together while everyone supports each other.

Hydro SMP is a vanilla style Minecraft survival server that is built to last a long time. It uses performance mods and moderator tools but the gameplay stays vanilla.

This is a survival server called SurvivalMC and it feels like a classic Minecraft world that just has some chill upgrades. It runs on version 1.21.10 for both Java and Bedrock so more people can play together. The server uses quality of life plugins and datapacks that make things smoother but it still feels like normal vanilla Minecraft.

Chilltown SMP is a survival server that tries to be really relaxed and friendly. The players here like to adventure a lot and also do cool builds. The server is made to feel unique and a bit challenging but it does not punish you super hard.
The world has seasons that change the terrain every 90 days so things do not feel stale. There are custom structures and custom biomes so you can find awesome views and extra loot while you explore.
