SableCraft is a small semi vanilla survival SMP that is trying to stay around for a long time. It is not made to be some huge place that resets all the time. The whole point is a community that grows together from the start.
The vibe is chill and respectful. Builders casual players and creators are all welcome. They say no pay to win and no anarchy and no drama so it is meant to feel fair.
The direction of the server is community driven from day 1. Season 1 is doing player applications and there are optional staff applications too. The launch is coming soon and people can join early and be there at the beginning.

I found this survival server that keeps a vanilla vibe but still adds extra stuff that makes it feel fresh. It is built for PvP and the whole point is that there are no land claims so you can build anywhere and people can raid anywhere too.
It supports both Java and Bedrock so more people can hop on. There are player shops plus an auction house and duels if you want a fast way to make money.

HighlandsMC is a brand new geopolitical Minecraft SMP on version 1.21.11. It is on a normal vanilla world so it is not one of those earth maps.
The goal is to get an active long term player base and grow a community together. The server keeps the vanilla feel but adds a few basic plugins to make stuff less annoying.
You can click villagers and pick them up in your inventory so moving them is way easier. Golden apples are also cheaper with EZ gaps since it takes 4 gold instead of 8. There are a few other small plugins too.

Prosperia is an SMP that tries to feel alive and worth sticking with. It is built for long term play and it does not have a store. Progress is meant to be earned through time effort and creativity.
The world has custom terrain and custom structures so exploring actually feels rewarding. There are land claims so people can build peacefully and keep big projects going.
There are custom enchantments and you can disenchant too. Farming has deeper progression with PyroFarming and fishing has unique rewards with PyroFishingPro. There is also a custom dungeon with custom mobs for late game content and it has exclusive gear and strong rewards.
The server has systems that are progression based with no instant power jumps. You can use safari nets to move mobs around. There are rideable and flying pets. MCMMO is there for more leveling. You can do jobs for steady income and use an auction house in a player driven economy.

Origin SMP is a survival server on version 1.21 that works on Java and Bedrock. It feels like a serious world where people actually care about what happens and the story keeps going.
The big thing is the Tier system for PvP. If you kill other players you gain Tiers and if you die you lose them so fights have real stakes. There is also proximity voice chat so you can talk to people when you are near them which makes trading and threats way more intense.

I found Malgazar SMP and it feels like a chill survival server where people actually try to not ruin your builds. The community is pretty active and it is hosted in the UK running on Purpur. It is for official Minecraft launchers only.
The rules are strict about no griefing no stealing no scamming and no drama. PvP is only if both people agree and slurs are not allowed. No x ray no cheats no seed maps and no duping glitches. If you mess with peoples pets or animals that is also not allowed. Breaking rules can get you locked in a cage for a set time or banned.

It has a custom questline with over 250 quests so there is always something to do. It also has a player run economy with shops and a currency system.

There is a road network that connects the world and you can grab starter spurs then get a horse and start your journey.
