This is a survival server that is running a short Season 0 to test stuff instead of pretending to be perfect from day one.
The owner is trying to see what actually keeps players interested for more than a few weeks. So the whole idea is to break things make stories and figure out what works long term.
They are using a custom plugin that changes how players interact and it is still being worked on. Player heads drop when you die so deaths feel more meaningful. There are backpacks but they are tuned so you still feel risk and you cannot just carry everything for free. There is also CoreProtect to stop griefing.

CryoMC is a new survival server that feels really relaxed and chill. It is made for people who want to play together and not worry about getting griefed all the time.

Spugunke is a new survival SMP that feels really community focused. It is semi vanilla and made for people who like long term worlds and playing together for a long time.
The server is all about player made towns and teams. Anyone can start a town or join one and build shared bases farms and big projects. This server is called SurviveWithUs and it is a semi vanilla SMP that tries really hard to feel like normal Minecraft but better. It is focused on quality of life stuff and on having a strong community instead of crazy big plugins that change the whole game.
