This is a basic vanilla server that has been running for about two years and it feels really stable and comfy. The world gets backed up every day so builds feel pretty safe but the actual gameplay is still wild and survival focused.
The community is active with a lot of nice players and some really good builders. People here like to team up and do co op stuff and you even get rewards for bringing friends. Staff is friendly and the server runs 24 7 on a dedicated machine so there is basically no lag.
The rules are strict about cheating and bad behavior. No hacking no cheating no exploiting no racism no lag machines no threats no x ray and no bullying. Chat has to stay clean and if you break those rules it can be a permanent ban.
But the play style itself is pretty hardcore. PVP is allowed griefing is allowed and so is stealing and raiding. You can make huge farms use redstone machines build mob farms and load new chunks as much as you want. It is kind of a mix of friendly people with ruthless survival rules.
Spawn has a 100 block protection so the very center is safe but once you leave that you are on your own. The server also uses voting on different websites to keep growing. This is a survival plain style server that is on season 2 right now. It is a lifesteal server so fights are scary and you have to be careful because hearts really matter.
