This server is called Vanillacraft SMP and it feels like older Minecraft servers.

Everything here is almost fully vanilla and there are barely any plugins. There is a graves plugin you can even turn off and one custom plugin that only shows server info like shop locations and coordinates. It does not change how the game plays at all.

The world is built by the community and for the community. There are no instant teleports and no big admin shops that sell everything. You have to explore trade and work with other players like the game was meant to be played.

The economy is based on items and mostly on diamonds. Players run their own shops and trades. There are no admin shops so you either buy from other players or gather stuff yourself. You can even decide to trade with other items if you want. The moderators let the players shape the economy.

The community is very friendly and there are people from all over the world so there is almost always someone online to talk to or play with. You can chat in game or hang out with them on their Discord.

There is also a solid moderator team that watches over the server so the place stays fair and chill for everyone.

UneasyVanilla is a Minecraft server that mixes semi anarchy with normal survival so it feels wild but not totally crazy.

The world has been running for over 4 years so everything feels really lived in. Spawn is totally wrecked and covered in lavacasts so your first challenge is just escaping the chaos. Once you get out you can travel far away build bases and explore like a normal survival world.

The server tries to stay close to the original Minecraft vision so it feels very vanilla. There are rules but they are simple and mostly there to keep the server running well and to keep cheaters out. Staff are active and ban hackers fast so fights and raids feel more fair.

The community is pretty tight and relaxed. You can run into random players start alliances or get into surprise battles while exploring. Some people team up for big building projects and others just wander and survive on their own.

If you want a long term vanilla world with a rough spawn and a bit of lawless energy UneasyVanilla is a cool place to try.

This is a Minecraft roleplay server about a huge colony ship called Nexara. The ship is so big that it feels like a whole city flying through space. Most of the roleplay happens on the ship while it travels between different planets.

Players get a lot of freedom to build and to shape the story. You can gather resources from planets help build up the ship and create your own character story. The lore is always growing because players keep adding new ideas. Staff also run plots so there is always something happening and it does not feel like just slice of life.

The server has people from a bunch of regions like North America Asia Europe and Australia so it is easier to find others to play and roleplay with. There is a short whitelist process before you get full access but the staff and players are friendly and help you get started.

The story is about pioneers who were supposed to travel to a new Earth like planet called Hestia. You went into cryosleep and were told you would build a utopia there. When you wake up most people are still asleep the ship is missing a lot of what was promised and something strange is going on. The rest of the mystery is for you to discover through roleplay with others.

The community is welcoming and they support and affirm 2SLGBTQIA plus players and people from many different backgrounds.
