Ferrum Aetheris is a modded RP SMP where the world feels like it is recovering from something huge. Long ago ancient builders drained the land of resources life and magic. Now new races live here and players decide what happens next.
The server is all about player agency. Almost everything is naturally generated or built by players. You are not just living in the world. You actually shape it block by block. The history is set but the future is decided by players not by admins with worldedit.
Roleplay here is mostly casual and not scripted. There is no audience to impress so you just hang out and have fun. RP happens when people feel like it and it fits into the world instead of being forced.
The modpack has around 120 mods and feels pretty balanced. There are mods for moving airships trains and elevators. You can walk around on them and build machines while they move. There are also big magic and engineering mods so if you like redstone and automation you will probably enjoy it.
You can pick different races with unique traits and abilities. There are also complex tool and weapon systems with many materials. The world generation is upgraded too with more biomes caves mountains and structures so exploring feels fresh everywhere you go.

Legends of Stonehaven is a new medieval fantasy RPG server that uses Cisco's Fantasy Medieval RPG Ultimate modpack. It launched on December 22 and is built around combat and exploration.
The combat is completely reworked with nice looking animations and a dodge system so fights feel more active. There is an in depth skill tree and origins system so every character can feel different and strong in their own way.
The pack has custom weapons armor trinkets bosses origins and divine blessings that are tuned for this server. Enemies scale up as you explore farther so the world keeps getting harder instead of staying easy.
There are two main magic mods that give a lot of utility both in combat and for exploring. The overworld nether and end all have new biome generation so everything feels more like a fantasy adventure world.
You can find hundreds of new dungeons and structures plus five extra dimensions to discover. There are over 200 quests that you can do solo or with friends and some quests add story and lore about the world. There is also a quest shop where you spend your coins on useful items.
Performance is a big focus so there are mods to help fps and loading times. There are also quality of life things like backpacks and storage systems so playing on the server feels smoother and less annoying.

Riddle SMP is a survival server that feels like a big mystery map. The whole world is reimagined with custom structures so exploring actually matters. You can run into ruins hidden in jungles or creepy places in the deep dark and it all feels like the world is trying to tell a story.
