Nation States is a new semi vanilla server that is built around towny and claiming land.
The whole idea is to make nations and build up your own power. Players are pushed to use diplomacy trade and war to grow. It really wants people to interact and not just hide in a hole.
The server is all about roleplay lore and conflicts. That is the spirit of the server. If someone ignores that and just ruins the experience they can be removed to keep things fun for everyone else.
The theme is early antiquity and there is a custom map that is about 5k by 5k. It feels like starting an old world empire with other players around you.
You can join on both Java and Bedrock so it is easy to bring friends from different platforms.
