Hydro SMP is a long term vanilla style server that really tries to feel clean and fair. It uses only performance mods and staff tools so the actual gameplay stays vanilla. The staff are very serious about no griefing and no cheating and they use rollback and inspection tools to keep the world safe.

The community is pretty big with thousands of people on the Discord and there are players who have been around for years. The cool thing is that the whole community votes on server decisions so everyone gets a say in how the server is run.

Even though it is vanilla they use a custom resource pack that adds some cosmetic stuff like special hats signs and banners. These do not change the game balance and are just for looks. They also use things like a live map proximity voice chat and some simple VanillaTweak datapacks like dragon dropping an elytra and extra building blocks.

The server is hosted in Europe on strong hardware and they really care about performance and TPS. If you want a grief free survival world that plans to stick around for a long time and where the community matters this server feels like a good fit.
