AvalonEarth is a Minecraft earthsmp and geopolitics server where the owner gives everyone starter money so you can make a nation right away. You do not have to grind first just to start playing the game.
The world map is 1 to 500 scale so there is a lot of space to claim land and build up towns and countries. The server uses Towny so nations and towns feel like the main focus of how you play.
This is the second season of the server and the community already feels active and growing. There are lots of new players and returning players from the first season so it does not feel empty.
If you like conflict and wars this server has a lot of them and nations really fight for power. If you hate wars you can still try to live more peaceful and avoid most of the battles.
You earn money mostly from jobs farming and fishing and they said more ways to make money will be added later. Overall the server is about nations the earth map and players choosing between war and peace.

United Lands is a Minecraft server that uses a big Earth map that is scaled down. Players make towns and nations and fight over land and politics. It feels like a world map strategy game but inside Minecraft.
The server is built around Towny so you can claim land and shape your borders. You can join an existing town or start your own and try to become a powerful nation. There are wars and alliances and lots of roleplay between players.
There are 7 different jobs you can pick from and they have skill trees so you can level up and get stronger abilities. You can unlock special gear like Masterwork Armor and perks like more sethomes or even flying inside your town.
The economy is fully player driven. There are no admin shops. Players make their own shops using player warps and sell items to each other. Some shops have better prices and some have more stock so you have to explore and find the best deals or try to run your own shop.
The server also has custom items like new weapons and unique foods including stuff like avocados and mac and cheese. It mixes normal survival with custom gear and fun items so it does not feel like a basic vanilla server.
The server store is cosmetic only so it is not pay to win. Sponsorships do not give gameplay advantages so everyone has a fair chance to get strong by playing the game instead of spending money.

This is a whitelisted semi vanilla server where people build kingdoms and do a lot of roleplay with politics and borders. The whole idea is that players control how the world works and what kind of kingdoms rise and fall.
The server runs on version 1.21.10 and tries to keep almost everything feeling like normal vanilla Minecraft. They even add back some old tricks like string duplication void trading and update suppression so redstone players can do more stuff.
There are some custom things to make it more intense. If you die in PVP you get a 24 hour ban so fights actually matter and people think before starting wars. There is a custom mod that lets you create a kingdom and use special commands to help with roleplay.

EmberSteal SMP is a server that mixes ideas from Lifesteal Strength SMP and Infuse SMP into one world.
When you kill a player you either steal one of their hearts or you steal one of their effect bundles. There is also a third special mechanic that is planned so fights are not just about gear but also about what you can take.
You can craft your own effect bundles and stack them. Eating the same bundle upgrades it from level 1 to 2 and then 2 to 3. All of this runs on custom datapack effects so it feels different from normal survival.
Progression feels fast but still balanced because almost everything can be stolen and drops as embers when you die. So nobody is ever totally safe and every fight matters.
The server is planned for Java and maybe Bedrock and there is simple voice chat so people can talk while they play or raid or test stuff. The owner is looking for people who want to join and help test the mechanics before and around the launch in mid December.
