This is a medieval fantasy RPG server that uses a big modpack and it just opened. The whole thing feels like an adventure world instead of normal Minecraft.
Combat is changed a lot with new animations and a dodge move so fights look cooler and feel more intense. There is a deep skill tree and different origins so your character actually feels unique and strong when you level up.
The server has custom weapons armor trinkets bosses and divine blessings that are balanced for this pack. Enemies get stronger the farther you explore so the world always feels dangerous and you cannot just chill in every biome.
There are two main magic mods that give you a lot of powers for fighting and also for utility outside of combat. The overworld nether and end are all overhauled with new biomes so the whole place looks like a fantasy world.
You can find hundreds of new dungeons and structures and there are five new dimensions too. There are over 200 quests that you can do alone or with friends and some quests add story and lore about the world. There is also a quest shop where you can spend your coins on useful items.
The pack tries to stay smooth because a bunch of mods are just for performance to help fps and load times. There are also quality of life mods like backpacks and storage systems so playing for a long time is easier and less annoying.

You join one of three Houses. Adamant is the industrial and mining style House that feels kind of corporate. Demeter is the nature and farming House that feels more communistic. Theurgy is for greedy warlocks and explorers who like magic and research.
The world has three Difficulty Stages that are changed by mods. At the start it is Normal where survival is hard but still manageable if you stick with your House. When the first player goes to the Nether everything moves to Hard and the creatures get tougher. When someone reaches the End it switches to Extreme and late game gets super wild but by then everyone should already be strong.
There is a custom role play system with player led Houses and monopolies. What you do actually changes how the server is structured and affects the status of your House. There are relics trade wars and territory struggles between players.
Resources in the world are limited so you have to dominate negotiate or trade if you want to grow. It feels like a server where your choices matter and your group really has to think about how to survive and control the world.

I found this server called Creative Central and it feels like a big worldbuilding project that turned into a Minecraft network.
The server has two main game modes right now. One is Creative Plots where you get a huge 512×512 plot. You get free WorldEdit and they barely limit commands and blocks so you can really go crazy with building. They also give you access to a head database and armor stand tools for free so you can decorate and do detailed builds without paying.
The other mode is Creative Central Earth. It is a Towny server on a 1 to 500 scale Earth map. You can make towns to claim land and use an in game economy to keep your town going. ShovelCraft is a semi vanilla SMP that is made for people who like to build and stay for a long time. The whole idea is to make a shared world where towns and teams and stories grow slowly and do not just reset when people get strong.
The world is split into two zones. In the green zone there is no pvp no stealing and no griefing so people can build and trade and roleplay safely. In the red zone pvp is on and stealing is allowed so you can fight and do risky trips but you still cannot just blow up bases.
The end is turned off so there are no elytras or shulker farms. People move by land sea and nether which makes the world feel bigger and makes roads and boats and nether routes important.
The server is meant to last a long time with no planned resets. There is a diamond based economy and teams can level up by using diamonds to unlock perks like extra warps shared storage and more member slots. There are also seasonal competitions that give lore style rewards like armor trims and shulker boxes.
Gameplay is mostly vanilla with some small quality of life commands like home tpa duel and shops. There are no pay to win perks and donor stuff does not give advantages. Voice chat is optional if you want to talk while you play. The version right now is 1.21.11.

This server is called Helianthus Solstice and it is an SMP about three big Houses that control everything important.
When you join you must pick a House. Adamant is the hardcore industrial mining and business side. Demeter is the nature and farming group that feels kind of communistic. Theurgy is the magic and research group that acts like greedy sorcerers. Your House actually matters since they control different resources everyone needs.
The world gets harder as players progress. At the start it is normal difficulty. When the first player reaches the Nether the whole world becomes hard. When someone gets to the End the world becomes extreme. The wild part is that the actions of your House help push these stages so you kind of work together early and maybe fight later.
There are also three gods named Scythia Leonidas and Bremen. Each god will run one big event this season where Houses compete and winners get divine favor. That makes their House stronger. Players can also do deeds for the gods to get gifts.
They tell you to read the House constitutions and lore before joining because your choice really matters. It feels like a server where politics and alliances and maybe future wars are a big deal.
