I found a competitive PvP server that runs in short seasons with full wipes. It is all about timed progression so stuff unlocks later instead of day one chaos.
The Overworld is open right away then the Nether unlocks after a set time and the End unlocks later too. They keep fights more grounded since netherite armor is disabled and End Crystals are not allowed and Respawn Anchors are not allowed. Diamond gear stays the main endgame tier.
PvP is expected and you can make temporary alliances but it sounds like solo players are the ones who really win. Hacked clients and exploit abuse are not allowed and you still have to follow basic conduct rules. CollideCraft Chapter II is a survival world that is built around big events and crazy moments. The server is starting a new chapter with a huge finale called the Vortex Event where the old world basically breaks apart.
Right before the event every player even new players gets Creative Mode for one hour. Then everyone is pulled into a place called The Inbetween which is a brutal arena. If you survive the last 10 minutes you get early access to the new world. If you fail you get stuck in Purgatory for 24 hours before you can join the new world.
The new chapter focuses on custom weapons tough challenges and server wide events. Some old convenience plugins are getting removed so the game feels more raw and risky. The Nether only opens after about one and a half weeks with its own event and The End opens after four weeks also with an event.
At the start early access players get a smaller world with a 1000 block border and when the server opens officially the border expands to 10000 blocks. There are weekly events planned every Saturday or Sunday so there is always something going on.
