The Anchor is a long term Java Survival server that tries to feel like a place you can leave and come back to and it still feels familiar. The vibe is that it is okay to take a break and people will still welcome you when you return.
It stays close to vanilla and avoids game breaking stuff. There are no constant resets and nothing is meant to change the core Survival experience.
Ranks are based on playtime and not on some weird money farm or crazy player shop setup. The economy is made by the players and there is also an Admin Shop that changes over time.
The server builds around the players who stick around and gives a lot of weight to their feedback as things grow.
