Xapros SMP is a chill vanilla survival server made for adults. It started in January 2025 and the whole point is long term play with no resets so people can actually finish huge builds.

The survival world stays and does not reset. The world border will grow over time as updates come out. The Nether and the End do reset sometimes and you get warned ahead of time.
Spawn was rebuilt to feel nostalgic and there is room for it to expand later. There is also a real casino with animated slot machines. You can rent player booths at spawn with sign rentals so it is simple.
It has advanced achievements with long term rewards and mcMMO leveling. Trading happens with player chest shops in a community mall. DeathChest helps keep your items safe when you die. I found a semi vanilla PvP server that is inspired by StrengthSMP. The big idea is that you get a strength boost when you kill people so fights keep getting crazier.
If you drop all the way to -10 strength you get eliminated and banned. There is also a revive beacon so other players can bring you back and unban you.
It has a custom spawn and a custom nether portal setup. The worldborder is huge at 100k by 100k. They also say they can run fun events when there are enough players and the launch is planned for 30.01 if the player count is high enough.
