I found a new vanilla plus server that is trying to pull in more players. It runs on a dedicated server and it is meant to stay close to normal Minecraft with only a few major mods.
They accept players from all timezones. They also want people to fill out a form because space is limited and they are keeping track of who joins.
If you want a simple survival server that is not overloaded with mods this one is aiming for that kind of vibe.
I found this new modded SMP called Creativity SMP and it is a multi type server where you can play a lot of different ways.
You can build a nation or go solo and you can set up huge farms using Create with a bunch of addons. The only real limit is when your farms start making the server lag so the modpack is kept smaller to help with big builds.
It also has Valkyrian Skies and Eureka so people can make tanks airplanes and boats. The server is still new so the rules are not fully finished yet.
Right now they want people to not use nukes until they figure out the rules for that. They also say dont be a A Hole and for the time being wars are not allowed.
Awesome SMP is a lifesteal survival server that just started up yesterday so it feels super fresh. Every heart matters here and fights can actually change how strong you are.
It is only lightly modded with stuff like Create Farmers Delight and Backpacks. You can build cool bases set up farms and try to survive with friends.
They say anti cheat is on so it stays fair. The community is friendly and the staff is active so it does not feel abandoned.
