BetaBuddies is a beta 1.7.3 survival multiplayer server that sticks to the classic vanilla feel. It is about enjoying old Minecraft and building up a world together with other players.
The community is small but active and they are looking for more people to join. The server is whitelisted so you have to share your Minecraft username and then wait for a manual whitelist.

Toms3 is a cracked anarchy server that came back with a brand new world after being gone for years. It is inspired by 2b2t and Hisparquia and it is meant to be a small fresh option.
It is full anarchy with no admins and no rules. There are no bans no filters and no shadowbans so people can play however they want.
It tries to stay near vanilla with only small changes to keep it stable. There is no /tpa and no /home and the chat is like 2b2t with greentext plus /w /r and /ignore.
There is a separate authentication server and premium players skip the auth part. The anti cheat is relaxed so stuff like ElytraFly AntiKnockback Velocity and NoFall should work but flight is blocked.
The server has two dupes listed which are an item frame dupe that is nerfed and a donkey dupe on 1.15.2. Printers work with Litematica and Air Place works too. Crystal pvp is changed since anchors and offhand crystals are heavily penalized.

This server is a minimal ComputerCraft style experience with a few addon and quality of life mods. It includes Plethora plus SC Peripherals and Goodies and Classic Peripherals so you can do a lot with computers and peripherals.
It has an active community with about 3 to 7 players online daily and around 10 at peak hours.
There are custom features like a WebSocket based Chatbox API and a Kromer economy server and a custom Pastebin replacement with no ads. It also has a playtime based welfare system.

This is a community centered SMP that feels a lot like Hermitcraft. It is made by the players for the players and people actually hang out and play together.
The server is survival with a diamond based economy and a shopping district. There are public builds and big projects that everyone can join in on. A lot of players use proximity chat too so it feels more social when you are exploring or building.
They try to keep the vanilla vibe while still adding a few cosmetic and quality of life or fun plugins. New stuff gets added from community requests and polls.
