I found a nation based server where big wars are always happening and it feels like danger is everywhere because other lands can become a threat at any time.
People are supposed to join up and conquer and fight whoever they want and the server is actively looking for more soldiers plus warlords and politicians to keep the battles going.
There is a gold economy so players can trade with each other and get armor cheaper from other players. There is also a skill tree that adds new combat stuff that still feels vanilla like.
