This server is called WorldRise SMP and it is all about kingdoms that fight and try to destroy each other. There are different types of nations like republics and monarchies and they make alliances and truces and then break them in wars.

One of the kingdoms is half Italian and half English and they are looking for more members. They are already in the top 10 richest nations so they are in a really strong spot on the server.

I found this server called Eden and it is like a giant social experiment in Minecraft. The whole idea is to see if players can make a working society without any admin stepping in to fix stuff.

The world has real scarcity. There are no admin shops that bail you out. Resources can actually run out and even crops are locked to certain biomes. So if you want a big factory or base you need a real supply chain that goes across the map.

Protecting your base is not some magic claim command. You have to reinforce blocks with materials so breaking in costs time and resources. Raids and wars feel like actual sieges and not just someone typing a command.

Justice is also handled by players. If someone messes with you it is on you to track them down. The server uses a system where you can imprison people in the Nether and that acts like the jail.

The Nether is not just a prison though. It is also full of important resources you need to progress. So both criminals and normal players have to share this super dangerous dimension.

Kronos SMP is a full Earth server on a 1 to 500 scale. The map is the whole world and the continents are super big and the oceans actually matter. Everyone starts fresh in a new world so there are no old empires or stacked nations already winning.

You pick a real place on the map and you claim it and then you defend it. Other players can try to take it from you so the borders on the map really change. You can start as a small group like a faction and grow into a nation.

This server is called Greatest of Centuries A.D. 1227 and it feels like a big medieval world in Minecraft. It uses a modpack on 1.20.1 that tries to be really accurate to history so it feels like Central Europe in the thirteenth century.
