The Honeycomb is a friendly semi vanilla survival server focused on a relaxed building experience. New players are always welcome and you can join without any signup process. A few helpful plugins support trading, sleeping, and protecting your builds while keeping gameplay close to vanilla. You will have access to basic commands such as teleport requests, starter kits, and homes to make survival more convenient. There is a player run shopping district called Nectar Nook where you can build a shop and sell items to others. The world last reset on 1 July 2023 after a community vote, and future resets will always be discussed and voted on by players. Old maps are made available for download so you never lose your projects. The Honeycomb hosts weekly in game events with limited edition prizes, regular meetings where players can share opinions and suggestions, and community building projects that anyone can help arrange and take part in.

Griefing is not allowed and grief prevention tools, homes, and sitting are available to make your base feel safe and cozy. Around spawn you will find a shopping district that uses a custom in house shop chest system, seasonal events, and fun skript powered mini games such as word guess, plus a custom dragon fight to keep gameplay fresh. If you prefer normal survival you can simply explore the expansive world, or if you like combat you can battle others in designated PvP arenas with leaderboards. The server features several crates, including a vote crate that uses keys earned through voting, with your first key given for free. Voting increases your vote level for better rewards, and there is also a seasonal crate full of enchanted and magical custom items, with special keys that can rarely be obtained from votes. All crates can be accessed at the past crates tower near spawn.
