I found a small semi vanilla SMP that is in testing right now
They plan to start up in about a week so it feels like a fresh start is coming soon
It is meant to be simple survival with a small group vibe while they get things ready

This is a brand new SMP that is trying to feel like that Ranked SMP stuff you see in videos
It is a recreation of the vibe and they are looking for more people to join so it feels alive
If you liked watching that kind of SMP then this one is made for you and the community is still growing

This is a chill progression SMP where you pick your own path and just play at your pace.
The world is a forever world with a 6k by 6k border so people stay closer and you actually run into others.
You can build a town or do a solo base and try to conquer the economy. There are jobs and a leaderboard so you can grind your way up.
PvP is a toggle and there are claims plus player shops which helps keep stuff safe and keeps trading going.
There is also a Bedrock port listed so Bedrock players can join too.

I found a small Minecraft Java server that is running on 1.20.1 with Fabric. It is a chill modded world with about 4 to 5 regular players.
They use a custom mod list that adds new monsters plus weapons armor furniture and more. The main idea is to explore and build a world that feels lived in with cozy bases shared towns and paths.
It is not a sweaty place and it is not PvP focused. People play at their own pace and it is more about relaxed teamwork and good vibes.
They also use proximity voice chat so you can talk while building or when you run into someone while exploring.

I found a Minecraft server that is looking for about 8 to 10 people to play together.
It is an Attack on Titan style server using the Shingeki No Craft mod with a few addons.
There will be a few big villain players and the main goal is trying to reclaim the founder. It sounds like a small group setup where people work together and get into fights and story moments.

Kingdom Of The Damned is a persistent survival world where the players shape what happens over time. It is a Vanilla+ SMP so it tries to keep Minecraft feeling familiar while still adding more depth.
Survival matters here and progression is earned. The world changes because of what people do not because of scripted systems. There are no minigames or separate modes so everyone shares the same survival experience.
The server leans into better survival and more exploring plus building tools and some quality of life changes. The mods are picked to stay balanced for multiplayer and to keep the server running smooth for a long term world.
You can join up with others to grow settlements into cities and make alliances and trade routes. Conflicts can happen naturally too. You can build a kingdom or play solo or just help out quietly and still matter.

I found a brand new Minecraft Java SMP that started today. It is a vanilla survival world where you just play normal Minecraft and meet people.
There are a couple rules you have to follow. After that it is mostly about having fun and making friends while you build and survive together.

Waychest is a survival server that feels like a big shared world but also a private realm. When you join you start your own Journey with a random spawn like it is your own server. You can do this alone or with friends.
The cool part is that every Journey is still in the same huge survival world. As you explore you start to find special chests and builds from other players. Stuff in the world slowly shows you that you are not actually alone.
The server runs Java 1.21.11 and keeps the game close to vanilla. Most of the extra features are custom made just for this place. There are special Waychests that connect Journeys and reward people who go out and find them. Later you can craft your own Waychests to guide future players to your base.
There is also a flying minigame that uses elytra where you try to fly through rings in the world and it leads you to someone else’s Waychest. There are discovery based warp points too but you have to find them out in the wild before you can use them.
From what I can see this server is all about PvE exploration and building in a calm survival world. You get that quiet solo feeling at the start but the world slowly proves that other players are out there with you.

This is a long term Minecraft survival server that is actually about the community and not about weird extra systems. Everyone plays together in one shared survival world and it is on hard difficulty with vanilla gameplay.
There are no land claims and no locked chests and no server economy tricks. There are also no payments or donations or perks so players feel equal and it does not feel pay to win.
The whole server runs on a trust based culture. The rules are enforced and people actually follow them so builds stay respected and the world feels calm instead of chaotic all the time. Players help each other and the world feels alive and not like singleplayer with just chat.
You can join and start exploring right away. To fully interact like breaking blocks and picking up items you have to do a short rules step in game. This is there to keep the server welcoming without using a bunch of plugins that split everyone apart.
Java and Bedrock players can both join and play together here. If you like hard vanilla survival and you want a place where kindness is normal this server really shows that it can work.
