    One Island Hardcore Survival Social Experiment

    I found a survival server that is still being built and it is made to force people to actually meet each other. Everyone starts on the same small island so you cannot just run away and never see anyone.

    Survival is harder than normal because resources are scarce and also tied to different regions. Progress is slow and it follows a more historical path. You start with knapped stone tools then work up through copper then bronze then iron. Gold and diamonds are rare and feel like a big status thing.

    Crafting is more involved too. Leather and metals need processing. You need cords and bone needles for basic stuff. Pottery is important for progress and metal is hard to get without trading.

    This feels like a social experiment where your reputation matters. Land claims are limited and early on it can be better to live out of mobile camps and move around. People will have to choose if they want to build a civilization together or try to control everyone else.

    HermitLike Season Two is a HermitCraft inspired SMP where people just build cool stuff and chill together. It is mainly vanilla with a few plugins for quality of life and moderation so it still feels like old school Minecraft.

    The server is on 1.21.11 and it supports crossplay so Java and Bedrock players can all join the same world even on console. It is really new and it started on January 30 so you can get in early before the shopping district and the End get opened.

    The rules are simple and it is meant to be peaceful. There is no PVP and no stealing and no griefing. There is also no pay to win and no voting and no crates.

    People have made a starting village at spawn that you can join. There is an online live map to see what people are building. Staff are active and the community likes to do events and help new players settle in.

    We are a small survival community dedicated to the old-school Minecraft experience. Our lightly modded, semi-vanilla server recreates nostalgic gameplay. As a non pay-to-win server, we ensure everyone has an even playing field, with no donator ranks or kits beyond a supporter title.

    Wizmo is unique in that the spawn is shared, you can build anywhere you’d like from the moment you join and start helping build the community! Or, start your adventure outside of the ruckus with /rtp to teleport to the wild.

    Protection:
    We have full block protection and rollbacks, to get your land protected from griefers please ask a staff member or create a post in i-need-help on discord. If you happen to not have your land protected, we can always rollback any grief!

    Shop:
    Shops are easy to create here and we plan on building a large economy! To create a shop just click on a chest with the item you’d like to sell or buy!
