WorldBound SMP is a serious geopolitics survival server where players make nations and try to grow them into real empires.
It runs on Java and Bedrock so more people can play together. The world is a big Earth map made with real satellite imagery so the mountains rivers and coastlines look like the real world.
Players build cities and castles then form alliances or start rivalries. Wars can break out and territory can change hands. There is also economy and trade routes and a lot of the fun is diplomacy and global politics made by the players.

I found Aelythera and it is a 16+ Minecraft roleplay server that is trying to be a new and upcoming place for people who want a fresh RP experience. The story starts in a normal world called Koriam with different regions and cultures and some steampunk tech. A long time ago people vanished in something called The Great Vanishing and now it is happening again. Your character is taken too and ends up in a new world with magic and ruins from an old civilization.
A big part of the server is discovery. You have to figure out your new power and your new home while trying to rebuild the technology you lost. Making tools and inventions is meant to be difficult. You can explore the ancient ruins and chase the secrets behind what happened to the people who built them or risk ending up like them.
