I found this server called NvizionMC and it is a simple crossplay survival smp. It works on both Java and Bedrock so more people can play together.
The server is focused on a chill survival world. There is a claim system so you can protect your base right away and not stress about grief. There is also a server economy with a shop so you can earn money and buy stuff instead of grinding every single block.
You can rent chest shops at spawn and sell your own items which makes the world feel kind of like a little town. Voting gives you 25 dollars in game each day and you can save it or spend it in the shop.
They use SimpleVoiceChat for proximity chat so talking to people nearby feels more real. ImageFrames are also enabled for everyone so players can use images in game. There are cosmetics and sometimes rank or key giveaways so people can show off a bit.
The community is not huge but it is active with a bunch of players online daily and the vibe feels relaxed and friendly. It looks like the owner waited to finish most of the setup and plugins before really advertising so the server runs in a pretty stable way.

This is a Bedrock only whitelist SMP that is on season 2. It is built to feel kind of like Hermitcraft with a smaller and close community.
The server runs on hard difficulty and keep inventory is turned on so you can do big projects without losing everything. There are land claims to protect your builds and griefing is not allowed at all. They want people who already know how to follow normal rules and be respectful.
The world is hosted on a private dedicated server and the map is huge so everyone can spread out and build mega bases. Some players already have really huge and complex builds. If you want the world files or the server structure for your own builds they will share that with members so you can keep your stuff for later.
There are a few addons like mini blocks plushies and simple things like teleport to players and set home which makes moving around easier but it still feels like survival.
You have to get whitelisted and there is a short screening process so random griefers do not join. The server is for people who want a long term survival world and a trusted group to play with.
