    Andromeda is a semi hardcore modded server that is all about roleplay and making your own original character. It is whitelisted and you have to apply first. The server is 16 plus and they want to know your character and your goals before you join.

    The lore is about following a strange trail of stars and arriving in Corsicana. It is a small coastal town built around trade. It is also the only known town on a huge unexplored land so exploration and discovery are a big part of the vibe.

    Roleplay here is like civilization style. People can become leaders explorers farmers builders and more. Players can form factions and start businesses with industry and an economy while they chase their character goals and help shape the bigger story.

    Gameplay is semi hardcore with a three lives system for each character. When you run out you get a final death and that character is permanently gone. There is also a downed state where you collapse and other players can rescue you before a five minute timer ends. If your character fully dies you are banned until you apply again with a new character and your old items do not carry over.

    This is a straight up vanilla survival server with no land claims and no teleport commands. It really tries to feel like normal Minecraft. You spawn in and have to walk everywhere and survive on your own or with people you meet.

    The world has been running since April 1st 2019 and the overworld has never been reset. That means you can explore super old bases and history that players built over more than six years. It feels like a forever world and they say they want to keep it that way.

    PvP and griefing are allowed so you have to be careful where you build and who you trust. There are no factions plugins and no economy stuff. It is just survival with other players the way the game was meant to be played.

    They use proximity voice chat with the Simple Voice Chat mod if you want it. It is optional but it makes talking to people nearby feel really cool. The server is optimized so it runs stable and they use anticheat but it is not super in your face. It mainly tries to stop cheaters and keep things fair for normal vanilla players.

    Unique Features

    • Ores: Ores do not spawn all over. Each area has a single ore type. Some spots are worth more than others, like in real life.
    • Mobs: Certain mobs spawn only in specific areas. Secure these spots to keep foes away.
    • Plant Growth: Plants grow based on the climate. Some need sunlight and certain areas to thrive. Players must create farms wisely.

    Realism is Key

    This world is made for folks who work together or are super skilled. Trade and strategy matter. Unlike other servers, resources are not easy to find.

    Game Changes

    • Mending: Removed to make tools and weapons more valuable.
    • Breeding: Limited to under 20 animals in the area. This makes meat a luxury item.
