This is Season 14 of Cascadia Gaming and it is all about modded Minecraft.
The group has played a bunch of big modpacks together in past seasons so they seem to know what they are doing and just want to have fun. They are now trying out the new E2EE pack and they like playing lots of other games together too so it feels more like a full gaming community and not just a one time server.
The community is tight knit and they like to hang out talk and share pet pictures and real life stuff. They want players who are 18 or older and they try to keep the vibe mature kind and welcoming so people feel safe and chill when they join.

EvoCraft Season II is a brand new world that is just getting started. It is still a work in progress and the owners are fixing issues as they go. Even though it is new the server can already handle a bunch of people online at the same time.
Right now the server is on Minecraft 1.8.8 and the plan is to update it after a couple weeks or maybe a month. So you know what version you need to join.
This server is whitelist only so you have to fill out an application first. That keeps the community a bit more controlled and makes it feel more like a real group instead of total chaos.

Eclipsia SMP is a modded Minecraft server that runs on version 1.20.1. It has a small but growing community and feels really cozy and relaxed.
The server is built around exploring new places and using magic. There are dungeons to find and modded bosses to fight so it feels like an adventure world instead of just normal survival.
Season 2 is starting now so both new players and people from Season 1 can jump into a fresh world. The server feels pretty chill but still has high stakes because of the magic and dungeon focus.

This is a Hermitcraft inspired SMP that just started season 3 and it feels really fresh and fun.
The server uses Simple Voice Chat so people can talk in game without having to leave Minecraft. There is Audio Player so you can use custom music discs and goat horns. They also use Carpet to add stuff like renewable deepslate and player bots so you can AFK farms.
There are cool cosmetic things like Tool Trims and custom model support plus a server side skin system so you can change your skin with a command. Image2Map lets players turn pictures into maps which is really good for art and signs.
The server has a bunch of datapacks. There are more mob heads and player head drops. Elytra trims and armor statues let people decorate more. Silence Mobs lets you quiet mobs with a nametag. There are smaller blocks in the stonecutter and wood can be used in the stonecutter too.
Recipe tweaks let you change things like dropper to dispenser universal dyeing sandstone dyeing and downcraftable nether wart and ice. Blaze and Caves advancement pack adds over 1000 new advancements so there is always something to work on.
From what I can see this server is for players who like long term survival and building up a world together with a lot of small quality of life changes instead of crazy mods.

AvalonEarth is an EarthSMP server with a 1 to 500 scale world map so there is a ton of space to make your own nation and explore.
The server uses Towny and it is all about nations and geopolitics. Anyone can start a nation because you get starter money when you join. You do not need to grind first or meet some player requirement to lead a country.
There are a lot of wars and conflicts on this server so if you like PvP and big nation fights this fits you. If you are not into constant fighting you can still play a peaceful life and try to avoid the wars.
Money mainly comes from jobs farming and fishing and the owner says more ways are being added soon. The first season started in September and a new second season is now running with many new players.
Overall this feels like a community that really likes EarthSMP style play and wants players to jump straight into nation building and world politics without a boring start.

This is a lifesteal semi anarchy server where everyone plays in teams. When you fight you steal hearts from other players so every battle actually matters.
There are two main teams and each team needs a leader and players. The leader decides what the team is trying to do so every team can have a different goal or style. You can make smaller factions inside the teams but it is not really encouraged because the season ends when only one main team is left.
The server has some rules so it is not total chaos but it still feels wild and dangerous. The owner is getting everything ready and the season will start once the teams are full and the setup is done.

This is a survival pvp server called North Survival and it just started Season 2 so it feels really new. It is made for players who want a fresh start for the new year and want to join a growing community.
The server runs version 1.21.4 and it supports all 1.21 clients so it works with the newest stuff. It has click villagers so trading and managing trades is way easier and faster. There is also RTP so you can random teleport and find a building spot without running forever.
You can use TPA to teleport to your friends and start playing together right away. There is a custom UI and the spawn is protected so you do not get instantly wrecked. Performance is stable so the server does not lag all the time.

This is a server for people who are tired of boring worlds that die in a week. It is made so you can play how you want without a ton of rules or staff yelling at you.
If you want to chill you can just build farm and vibe at your own speed. No one will bother you if you just want to relax and do your own thing.
