Vulcan SMP is a community server that feels like more than just Minecraft. There are around 22 players right now and they want more people to show up and stick around.
The big thing here is nations. Players run their own nations and there is also an admin run World Assembly where people can set up trade and alliances and even have wars.
They also do a lot of events. You can jump into PVP tournaments and horse races plus scavenger hunts and parkour. The economy is run by players too with shops selling goods. Some people trade with diamonds and some even use currencies made by a nation.
