Rosedalean SMP is a newer Minecraft world that is trying to grow into a strong community. It is an 18 plus server and it is whitelisted so people have to apply first. The server is enhanced vanilla and it runs on add ons so you do not need any mods.
From what I can tell the community is really friendly and wants players who actually talk and play together instead of a dead world. There are factions you can join or you can make your own group. You can focus on making your team the strongest or you can just build a cute village with friends.
They are planning events like a colosseum battle arena and even a Secret Santa event. There is simple voice chat so talking is easier. The world has Terralith biomes so exploring feels more interesting. There is also a ticket system that looks easy to use if you need help with something.
They use a blue map so you can see how the explored world looks and where stuff is. The staff seems to care about suggestions and they say they take the community seriously. If something is missing they want players to say so they can improve the server.
