GOOMB SMP is a vanilla survival server that just started a fresh season a couple weeks ago. The world uses amplified generation so the terrain looks super crazy and people keep sharing screenshots of the huge mountains and floating cliffs.
There is a 6k by 6k world border so bases are pretty close together right now. Because of that lots of players are teaming up or building near each other. The plan is for the border to expand later so there will be more space for different projects and ideas.
The community feels really active. The discord is full of people talking about shops deals trades and plans for the world. Voice chats are usually busy with players hanging out and chatting while they play.
The rules are pretty strict on being respectful. There is no griefing no stealing and no unconsented pvp. Hate speech and nsfw stuff are not allowed. Everyone is expected to be mature follow the rules and keep things drama free.
To get on the server you apply first so it is whitelist only. After you are accepted you get whitelisted and can jump into season 2 and start your base in the amplified world.

This is a simple vanilla SMP for people who just want to play normal survival Minecraft. There are no crazy plugins or weird extras so it feels like regular Minecraft that you already know.
The server is not an anarchy server. There is a clear no griefing rule and it actually gets enforced. If you join just to grief you will probably get banned.
There is an anticheat running but that is basically it. No extra stuff getting in the way. You just mine build survive and hang out with other players.
The server also runs on pretty good hardware so it should not be laggy. It feels smooth to play and lets you focus on survival instead of waiting for blocks to break.

CoreMC is a small vanilla whitelist server that has been running the same world for a long time. It uses the normal vanilla jar with no datapacks except a simple logging one so rules can be enforced. The gamerules are all default so it really feels like regular Minecraft.
This server is for players who like long term survival and late game goals. The world started in 1.18 and will not reset so every build can be permanent if you want. It is not very active so you should be ok with playing mostly on your own and making your own projects.
The rules are pretty simple. No pvp griefing or stealing and you have to respect other peoples builds. You cannot use item dupe glitches and you cannot make things that cause huge lag on purpose. Hacking like xray or fly is not allowed but stuff like shaders schematics or autoclickers is fine if you use them fairly.

This is a hard survival server that feels like classic Minecraft with almost no extra stuff. It was started in 2020 and it is still going because a small core community stuck around.
The server tries to keep things simple. There are no claims so people just play and build and explore together. There is an item based economy where raw gold is used for trading and for a player run shopping district. There are a few quality of life commands like spawn sethome and skipping the night but not a lot more.
The players are usually more mature and the staff is pretty hands off. They only step in when there is cheating or griefing. People like to talk about real life and joke around so chat feels active and friendly.
The rules are simple but they are enforced. No hacking or x ray. Only client side mods that do not change packets or make the game unfair. The server runs Minecraft version 1.21.10 on hard difficulty and it has good hardware. Mob rates are vanilla and there are no weird build limits. Bedrock players can also join using the given port so both Java and Bedrock friends can play together.

This is a simple vanilla server that has been running for about two years and it feels really stable and safe. The world is backed up every day so your builds are not just going to vanish.
The community is pretty chill and people like to work together. Co op is encouraged and you even get rewarded for bringing friends to play with you. There are lots of good builders here so you will see some cool bases and farms.
Staff is friendly and the server runs 24 7 with no real lag and a dedicated machine behind it. There is also support if you need help so it does not feel like you are playing alone.
Rules are strict on bad behavior. No hacking or cheating or exploiting. No racism or bullying or threats. No x ray and no lag machines and you need to keep chat clean.

World of Eldin is a long running survival world where cheating is not tolerated. Flight, speed hacks and x ray are bannable, but mini maps are allowed. The world is meant to be challenging, and progressing here takes time and commitment. You can live off the land in the wilderness, save up money to protect your land, or buy cheaper plots inside a city. The economy is based on iConomy with Trade Bars as the main currency and Bits as change, used for buying items from player and server shops or purchasing different land options. After buying land you earn a title, such as Gentry for wild tiles or Villager for city tiles. Titles help you become known in Eldin and come with their own responsibilities. Griefing is frowned upon, but living in a city or other protected land helps keep your builds and items safe.
