Early on the world border starts small at 1000 blocks each way and it grows every day. When players entered the End a destruction timer started and after it finished the End became unreachable for an unknown amount of time. When the border hit 10k an infinite winter began.
Griefing killing and stealing are allowed and it is meant to be brutal. Hacking and exploits are not allowed. Crystal and anchor PVP are disabled.
Death is permanent but there is a revival system tied to the world. When you die you become a ghost and you can only stay near your own player head and you cannot clip into the ground. As the border expands you can discover special revival locations and if someone places a dead players head there and pays the material cost that player can come back. The world generation is changed across dimensions with new looking biomes and strange terrain. You can find natural structures like towers and ruins so exploring feels worth it.
